Privacy policy

1. Who we are

GBMskin.com (the "Site") is owned and operated by Supplies & More LLC ("GBMskin," "we," "us"), 42881 Hunt Club Blvd, Sterling Heights, MI 48314. We're responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Order information: name, email address, shipping address, phone number (optional), the products you buy and any discount code you use.
• Payment information: your card details are entered on our checkout page and sent directly, in encrypted form, to our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number or security code. We receive a transaction ID and the result of the payment.
• Newsletter sign-ups: your email address.
• Messages: anything you send us by email, such as questions, return requests or feedback, including photos you choose to share.
• Product experience reports: if you tell us about a reaction to a product, we keep that report, as cosmetic companies are required to do under U.S. law.

Information collected automatically

• Device and log data: like most websites, our hosting provider records technical information when you visit, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and the date and time of the request.
• Fraud prevention data: when you check out, your IP address is shared with our payment processor to help detect fraudulent transactions.
• Browser storage: we store the contents of your bag in your browser's local storage so it's still there when you come back.

3. How we use it

• To process, ship and deliver your orders, and to send order confirmations and shipping updates.
• To provide customer service and handle returns, refunds and product questions.
• To send newsletters and offers if you've signed up (you can unsubscribe anytime).
• To prevent fraud, secure the Site and enforce our Terms of service.
• To keep records required by law, including tax, accounting and cosmetic safety records.
• To understand how the Site is used and improve our products and service.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the store, and only what they need to do their job. They aren't allowed to use it for anything else.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to respond to valid legal requests, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business (in which case this policy would continue to apply).

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use only what the Site needs to work: browser storage for your bag, and a sign-in session for store staff. We don't currently use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. If that changes, we'll update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.

There's no common standard for "Do Not Track" browser signals, so the Site doesn't respond to them. We honor Global Privacy Control signals where the law requires it.

6. Marketing emails

If you sign up for our newsletter, we'll send you product news and offers. You can unsubscribe anytime by replying to any of our emails or writing to hello@gbmskin.com. Order and shipping emails are transactional and are sent even if you're not subscribed.

7. How long we keep it

• Order records: as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal purposes, generally up to 7 years.
• Newsletter emails: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
• Customer service messages: up to 3 years after the conversation ends.
• Product reaction reports: for at least the period required by law.

8. Security

The Site uses HTTPS encryption, card details go directly to our payment processor, and access to order data is limited to authorized staff. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a breach that affects your information, we'll notify you as required by law.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Know what personal information we have about you and get a copy of it.
• Correct information that's inaccurate.
• Delete your information (we may need to keep some records, such as order history, to meet legal obligations).
• Opt out of marketing emails, the sale of personal information and targeted advertising (we don't do the last two).
• Appeal our decision if we deny your request.

To make a request, email hello@gbmskin.com with the subject "Privacy request." We'll verify your identity by matching the email and order details we have, and respond within 45 days. You can use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof they're acting for you. We won't treat you differently for using your rights. If we deny your request, reply to our decision to appeal it.

10. California residents

In the past 12 months we have collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (name, email, address, IP address), commercial information (purchase history) and internet activity (site log data). We collect them from you and your device, for the purposes in section 3, and disclose them only to the service providers in section 4. We have not sold or shared personal information, and we don't knowingly sell or share the information of consumers under 16. We don't use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.

11. Children

The Site is meant for adults and isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the "Last updated" date at the top, and for significant changes we'll give more prominent notice, such as an email or a notice on the Site.
